Honeywell Corporation produces a variety of electrical parts mostly dealing with the aerospace industry. Their production area of approximately 9,700 sq. ft. was painted with a conventional epoxy coating. Over time, a problem developed of the employees getting shocked as they touched the parts they were building. Static electricity was building up as they walked around and when they grounded themselves by touching something the static was released. This static build up was effecting the parts being built as well as the employees.
