Festus Fire House decided a few years earlier to apply an epoxy coating on the fire house floors themselves. The difficulties they had were from not preparing the surface properly to insure a great bond. The result, after a short time, was that the epoxy floor coating began to peel and chip. Archway Industrial Coatings removed that existing epoxy coating and used our commercial grinders to profile the floor correctly. Archway Industrial Coatings then applied our industrial grade epoxy/urethane system. Problem solved, there was no more peeling or chipping. The most important component is being able to prepare the floor correctly.
